To Swirl or Not to Swirl

Really Red Velvet Brownies would be complete without mentioning the cream cheese swirl. This luscious topping to the brownie batter adds a creamy and tangy element to the brownies, elevating them to new heights of decadence. After placing the brownie batter in the baking pan, we always add cream cheese mixture over the batter, and swirl in using a spoon or knife. It gives the brownie a gorgeous effect, while also being delicious. Some enjoy a plain red velvet brownie, but it’ll always be up to each individual. The cream cheese swirl elevates a great brownie, while allowing your love or red velvet to foster.
