Whipped It was established to learn, create and share the knowledge of food.  Food is our natural resource in which we consume to survive.  Along the way, humans invented a variety of delicious options based on cultural and geographical relevance: either from emigration, tourism, food scarcity or a visual representation of their financial enrichment.  Today, we create for inspiration, celebration, to stand out and as a fun hobby.  Whipped It is designed for all of the above, and to share and communicate our love of food, while learning new tricks.

What We Want to Accomplish

This is the foundation of food. We need to learn basics. No, no boiling water, we’re all past that, but required technique to create delicious meals. What do we need, and what can we disregard. Certain techniques drilled into cooking/baking are unnecessary. Some are required. We get right down to the point. No time to waste.

Conversion

While cooking is essential to life, understanding what your cooking and how to accomplish a meal is fundamental. In the United States, measuring cups are the standard. They’re both cute and easy to measure ingredients, but they are never give the most accurate. Along the way, we will learn and use a scale. The scale will be our template for basic food preparation. A scale isn’t always needed, especially for cooking certain foods, where taste rules, but we should understand the metric system for our own benefit for the best results.

We have establish a Conversion page, which will be routinely be updated with new conversions, so you’re never lost with a recipe. Utilize it! That’s the basis for most of our successful recipes. This calculator weighs a variety of ingredients, essential to accuracy.
